Hey folks, Dolphin has a Free Look option under the Graphics settings that allows camera y-axis and x-axis rotation (camera pan and tilt), but the main branch doesn't have z-axis rotation. I've implemented one.

It's currently bound to SHIFT+C/X (clockwise/counterclockwise). It's useful in third-person OTS games, like Zelda, since just panning and tilting can throw off the camera orientation. You can set the speed with SHIFT+(1/2), like the WASD movement. Here's the build (based on master-5991), if you want to try it out: Two questions: a) Does anyone care? And b) If so, can we get this included in the main branch? Hello all, I am a new user with both a hacked Wii and Gamecube though the Gamecube is broken. I have ripped all my games with cleanrip (Took forever) and have been experimenting with dolphin. So far its a great piece of software, so huge thxs to the devs.

Anyway the problem is I have a semi powerful computer (Not Intel) and everything seems to work full speed but Star Wars Rogue Squadron is slowish. I would really like to get it working cause I love that game but I fear without having an Intel processor that might not be possible. I am not hating on AMD but this is what I have gathered from browsing the forums before I registered. I just want to get others opinions on this, is an AMD FX 8350 too slow for Star Wars Rogue Squadron? Below is my full specs AMD FX 8350 Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 32 GB of Kingston Ram (I do a lot of video editing) 1200 Watt Corsair Power Supply (I thought I was going SLI) Thxs guys, EDIT: Oh forgot to add I am using Dolphin 4.0-5991 but I have tested other versions too, if I left something out just let me know and I'll happily reply with that information. Hello, I have somehow strange problems, anything what i put into Gamecube controlls (keyboard, controlled, etc.) nothing will work for me:/. I tried to solve it for a week now a still didnt found a solution to this problem.

Not here or in the settings of dolphin. Fun thing is that controll devide works in the setting and even in the game trought 'show input display' as P1 but game just 'NOPE' Is there anyone with the same issue? Or someone who might know why i this happening?

Please tell me i will realy apreciate it Thanks. I have the opportunity to return this laptop so if it cannot run dolphin high settings that is fine. I was thinking wii games such as the last story xenoblade etc I would prefer to buy a non-custom built laptop that is that can run dolphin at high settings $500-$600 dollar price range. Is this feasible? Also I need to make sure the cd drive is compatible with wii and gamecube games. Make sure the info below is correct Operating System: windows 8.1 x64 bit Processor/CPU: intel i3 4030u cpu 1.9ghz Video Card/GPU: Intel ® HD Graphic Family Memory/RAM: 6 gb.

So yeah this is just a keep up the good work post. I have not played twilight since some time in 09 last.

Back then I had a sandy chip and most of the same rig I have now. I just got a haswell and wanted to give it a try. I'm well aware of all the improvements since then but never tried it before. I was at the part with the wolf running around near the castle at dark and from memory it was very slow aback then. When I first ran it I was pretty impressed, it was not%100 but very good.

I was able to do a few things to get smooth play but it would dip a lot. After looking at every option I could find I put it down. Then I wanted to try dx thinking maybe it was GL but after a quick play it seems GL is better on my rig, and one more look at setting and I see I had dual core unchecked. I was surprised I forgot to turn that back on and was thinking wait a second, dual core is off? Let just say after checking it, putting texture to ram, audio to pro logic, AI at 8x, AF at 16x, as well as PPL on, my game is running just as good as the GC.

And better looking%100 full speed and I bet I could even run LLE sound. Amazing job team! Oh BTW: Is audio to core now permanent, I don't see the option any more? This is a work in progress texture pack for The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, more specifically for Ocarina of Time (until I'm finished with it, then I'll move to Majora's Mask).

Most textures also work with other versions of OOT that can be played in Dolphin (Master Quest and the VC version). You just have to rename the textures folder.

It's mostly a texture pack port based on the Community Retexture Project for Nintendo 64 emulators that can be found here: There are some textures that I had to fix for Dolphin, mainly convert white or black backgrounds into transparent, or mirroring Link's clothes, etc. The main difference is that I made this texture pack with the 16:9 aspect ratio in mind (I'll give optional 4:3 packs when I finish more parts of the game), so play with the widescreen hack enabled. I changed OOT's logos and part of the HUD for that. I also adapted the disc menu to 16:9 and added some HD textures straight from artworks from the Zelda wiki (very huge PNGs, no downscaling yet, just pure and original quality). These disc menu textures only work for the American version. I'll do them for the PAL version in the future, as well as a 16:9 Master Quest disc version (which is mostly finished by now). What is done: - Disc Menu: everything except Majora's Mask loading screen (I remembered while I was uploading this, will be done for next version).

- Most of Link's textures. - Complete HUD except remaining minimaps from many zones I didn't retexture yet. - Done or mostly done areas: Kokiri Forest (Link's house interior included), Lost Woods, Kakariko Village, Hyrule Field, Zora's Domain (the way to get there and Jabu Jabu's place too), Hylia Lake, Death Mountain Trail, Hyrule Castle Zone and Deku Tree dungeon, IIRC. To do: - Areas not listed above. - Some font letters that rarely appear ingame. - Many characters.

- The sky (will be a pain to do). - Improve the Mask of Truth texture that I got from Google Images.

It doesn't convince me. - Dungeon maps appear incorrectly in the pause menu, I think. In general size, I've retextured between 25 and 30% of the game. I wanted to advance more before this release in the Easter holidays, but Alien Isolation happened. Problems with the 16:9 aspect ratio: - The A button renders in a 3D way, so it looks perfect by default, while the other button icons are stretched. If I correct them, the A button is squished.

I didn't change them because item icons also look different in the item menu (correct) compared to the HUD (stretched). A pity that they don't use two separate textures. - Some elements disappear at the sides of the screen. A 'disable culling' code would fix this, but there isn't any code for that at the moment. Recommendation: in the game configuration file (PZLE01 in the default case of this texture pack), you'll see 'MaxAnisotropy = 0' under Video_Enhancements.

Put it to 16 instead of 0 to see the textures more correctly and avoid shimmering. The default value is needed for Zelda I and II. Screenshot time, downscaled from 4k (the disc menu ones still didn't show the full size of the textures at that resolution ). Specs: Intel Pentium CPU G630 @ 2.70GHz dual core Nvidia gt430 4Gb vid memory 8GB RAM ---- Like it says when I go full screen the frames drop to below 20 and the games become unplayable. Animal Crossing is the only game that doesn't lag full screen.

Emagic Unitor 8 Driver Xp. When I enlarge the window everything is fine its only when I go full screen via options or whatever. The resolution is lower than my internal which is pretty high (31' monitor.) And it helped a small bit but not enough. Also perhaps unrelated but Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance is completely unplayable at any time. The frames are constant below 15. Any thoughts?

Whenever I try to connect to a game in SSBM netplay, it gets stuck when connecting. Download Lagu Acha Septriasa Sampai Menutup Mata Instrumental more. This only happens sometimes. I'm able to connect to a game when i first get on my computer but any time I try after that, I can't. When I put in the code given, it greys out connecting, then after like 30 seconds it says 'Disconnected'. I've checked my firewall and everything seems to be set correctly. This also happens when I host.

When people put in the code i give them, the same thing happens to them. Any suggestions? (Size: 2.97 KB / Downloads: 4).
